8-Bit Dark Void is Real

A while back there was a cool NES Dark Void-style game mock-up with a real 8-bit Dark Void theme by composer Bear McCreary. Mega Man won't be having all the retro fun because actually is making an 8-bit Dark Void game. Called Dark Void Zero, the game will be on DSiWare for 500 points with PC and mobile versions coming later. I would imagine that McCreary did the rest of the music for Dark Void Zero. Hopefully this will eventually be made available on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, because this looks so amazingly badical. The game even has NES-style box art and "blow-off the cartridge" screen. The press release contains a highly suspect story of the original existence of Dark Void Zero, but true or not, this is very cool.
