Final Fantasy XIII Looks Amazing in 16-bits

To get everyone ready for the release of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Square Enix released a recap video of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 de-made into 16-bit versions. This is probably the best thing to come out of the whole FFXIII saga. Oh, and if you haven't played the games there are massive spoilers in the video.

After watching, it's clear that Square Enix should just remake FFXIII as a 16-bit game. They could have towns! They already have a few assets for it and it looks and sounds fantastic. They've also gone on record saying that HD games take a very long time to make, which is why they say we'll never see a FFVII remake. Square Enix is already deep in production of FFXV, so they should make Final Fantasy XVI a 16-bit RPG. Going retro SNES-style for the next game would solve their takes-too-long issue and would be a huge seller for them, probably solving all their financial woes. I know they should, you know they should, but Square Enix needs to know they should. With the space available on a Blu-ray disc, a new 16-bit RPG could be the longest and most epic RPG ever.

Either this needs to be a real game or Final Fantasy XVI needs to be 16-bit.
