New G.I. Joe Posters Face Off

Paramount has been teasing G.I. Joe fans have with the same images for months and months, especially those Snake Eyes photos. I was getting so tired of seeing the same old images used over and over on websites and in magazines. Sure, there were a couple blurry images at the 2008 San Diego Comic-con panel, but they were somewhat far away and just were not enough of anything to satisfy my hopes of the movie being decent. Today, Paramount have released six new images of Baroness, Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Duke, and Ripcord (via SuperHeroHype). However, they're still nothing more than promotional money shots. Where are the shots with some substance? From all the smoke and explosion debris you can tell that there is some kind of amazing battle being fought, but everyone is too self-absorbed into looking as cool and sexy as they can that they're just ignoring it. The posters cut off the characters' heads and let us focus on what else the characters have to offer, which is more than the black body armor we've already seen; you just have to read into it a little. These posters do look freakin' cool, but they do nothing to make me think that movie will be balls-to-the-walls awesome. So, when is that trailer coming?
