In Hasbro's Q&A for October 2009, Hasbro announced that they will be bringing over Takara's Masterpiece edition Grimlock to the U.S. in 2010 (via Action Figure Insider). The Japanese version currently goes for around $150, but the figure will probably go for around the same price as the other Masterpiece releases on our shores, about $60 or so. If it follows the trend of the releases of Masterpiece Starscream and Skywarp, then it will also be a Wal-Mart exclusive, which sucks for me because Wal-Mart is the one store that is irritatingly out of my way. If we're lucky, we'll be getting Grimlock's king accessories from the King Grimlock re-release. Grimlock is the king, baby.
