H.A.W.X. 2 Goes 8-Bit

Wouldn't it be great if all the videos and screenshots we've seen so far of H.A.W.X. 2 were just CG movies and the actual gameplay was an 8-Bit top-down shooter? It would be awesome. It would be like Tom Clancy giving the middle finger to most of the gaming population with one hand while also giving a thumbs up with the other for us old-school gamers. That's not the case, but Ubisoft does have a Flash game simply called H.A.W.X. 2 - The 8-Bit Game. It's a full-featured NES-style shooter, with four jets to choose from (plus one secret), multiple power-ups, big bosses, chip tune music, and an actual story. I still haven't played the first H.A.W.X., but I can certainly get behind a new 8-Bit shooter, even if it's just for promotional purposes. Maybe Ubisoft will be super cool and put H.A.W.X. 2 - The 8-Bit Game in as an extra on the H.A.W.X. 2 disc. It wouldn't take up that much space and I would love to play it on an actual big-screen through my surround system.

This is how H.A.W.X. 2 should be.
