Kojima Posts New Photos of ThreeA's Metal Gear REX

Metal Gear Mastermind Hideo Kojima has posted new photos of what appears to be the final painted version of ThreeA's incredible Metal Gear REX. REX is said to stand around 20" tall and you can see just how huge REX is in Metal Gear Master Artist Yoji Shinkawa's hands. You'll notice that the rail gun is not attached in the photos, but I can only assume that Kojima was so excited about it that he got photo happy before it was completely assembled. In a couple of the photos you can see how it towers over all other Metal Gear toys. Besides the lights and awesome rail-gun, REX will also feature some removable panels for a battle-damage look resembling it's appearance in Metal Gear Solid 4.

REX was scheduled for January, but will be available to order in February, which is good because it gives fans a little more time to sneak-up some extra cash for it. I have a feeling that REX is going to be the most amazing toy this year, and probably will be for some time.

ThreeA's Metal gear REX is nearly the size of a child.

No other toy, Metal Gear or otherwise, can compare to REX.

Just look at how finely detailed REX's innards are.
