Kojima Reveals a New Metal Gear Solid Cyborg Ninja Figure

Hideo Kojima loves showing off things on his Twitter, like what he's eating, CDs he just bought, and important business meetings with other head-honchos in the videogame industry. Today, Kojima has revealed a brand new Cyborg Ninja figure from the classic Metal Gear Solid. The figure will be a part of Square-Enix's Play Arts Kai line of Metal Gear figures, which will apparently encompass more than just Peace Walker very soon. Now, the Square-Enix's Play Arts Kai Cyborg ninja has not been officially announced, but I'm going to say that anything Metal Gear-related coming from Hideo Kojima himself can be considered an official announcement.

The Cyborg Ninja is still in the prototype phase and was photographed with accompanying art designs and with MGS artist Yoji Shinkawa in one of the photos. McFarlane Toys' original figure of the Cyborg Ninja was good, but as much as I love McFarlane Toys, the Play Arts Kai one is going to blow it away. I'm also fully expecting there to be a clear optic camouflage variant to appear in the future. (via Tomopop
