McFarlane Toys' Halo 3 Series 2 Photos

The photos of the Arbiter were just an appetizer. Today McFarlane Toys revealed photos of the final painted prototypes of all the figures in their second series of Halo 3 action figures via Spawn.com. The first series isn't even out yet and they're already showing us series 2. The figures are just as incredibly detailed and dramatically poseable as series 1. From the looks of things series 2 is going to be a Spartan army builder set because there are a load of various Spartan figures in varying armors and colors. Along with the Spartans is a new version of Master Chief, an ODST trooper, a badass Brute Stalker, a creepy Drone, and everyone's buddy the Arbiter. Seriously, in Halo 3 the Earth soldiers talked more to him than they did Master Chief. Take a look at the awesomeness you'll be purchasing in June 2008.

"The goggle! It does nothing!"

Aside from the Brute's scary-ass one-eyed helmet, he'll come with the spike rifle and the carbine, 15 points of articulation and weapon storage on his back.

"Tan armor? Really? I might as well be naked. Hmm..."

All Spartans will have two weapons, 18 points of articulation, interchangeable armor, and weapon storage on the back and right thigh. The tan scout will be available at all retailers.

There's strong, there's Army strong, then there's ODST strong.

The Orbital Drop Shock Trooper will only come with a battle rifle, but he'll also have 18 points of articulation and look cool as all hell.

There's also Drone weak, but they can do the robot.

The Drone only comes with a measly plasma pistol, but he also has foldable wings, 12 points of articulation, and a display stand so he doesn't have to be in a funky pose on your desk.

"Smells like our cheeseburgers are around here somewhere..."

White EVA Spartan will only be available at specialty stores.

"Up there! The ODST jacked our burgers."

The Red CQB Spartan will be available at all retailers.

"Did you see the video of the two Spartans and the cup?"

The Arbiter will come with the powerfully cheap energy sword, the carbine rifle, 18 points of articulation, and weapon storage on his back and right thigh.

"Dude! That's gross."

Like the Spartans, the second coming of Master Chief will have two weapons, 18 points of articulation, interchangeable armor, and weapon storage on back and right thigh.

If you thought your bank account was going to dwindle due to these figures, you're right, but to make your bank account implode McFarlane Toys will also have plenty more Spartans at various retail locations. The cyan ODST and Blue EOD Spartan are Wal-Mart exclusives. The steel ODST is a GameStop Exclusive. The brown EVA is a Toys 'R' Us Exclusive. The olive EOD will be available at all retailers and the gold Mark VI is a Transworld Exclusive. Wait, what the hell is Transworld?

It looks like it's going to be a very successful year for McFarlane Toys and Halo. Be sure to visit Spawn.com for more photos of each figure.
