It's not wise to make a green lady angry.

  • The two new characters announced for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 this week are Zero and She-Hulk. The game will be out on February 15th, 2011 with a special edition in tow. The special edition has a Steelbook case, prologue comic, a one month subscription to Marvel digital Comics, and the announcement and inclusion of Shuma Gorath and Jill Valentine DLC characters.

  • Speaking of Marvel, Zen Pinball is bringing Marvel Pinball to PSN and XBLA in December. There will be four tables, one for Wolverine, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Blade. Blade? That's kind of a weird choice.

  • The PS2/Xbox era Prince of Persia games are being released individually on the PSN store in North America, not in a collection like everywhere else in the world. I'd much rather have the collection on a disc than sacrifice hard drive space.

  • GameStop accidentally posted a Dreamcast Collection. We don't know what games will be on it, but we love that Dreamcast.

Movies / TV

  • Cowboys & Aliens sounds ridiculous, but it stars Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig and looks freaking awesome.

  • The Green Lantern trailer seems to have a lot more comedy than a normal Green Lantern story, but it seems fine especially with the space stuff and a Killowag.

Games

The next Darksiders game could star Death, Fury, Strife, or all three.

  • Darksiders 2 will star a different character than War and the story will actually take place alongside the first game. So would we have to wait until the third game to have the sequel hinted at in the end of the first game? Or will each successive game star one of the four horsemen with the fifth game being the true sequel? Well, either way, if Darksiders 2 doesn't sell at least 1.3 million copies there won't be a third game.

  • At the Hasbro Investors Day it was announced that Transformers: War for Cybertron 2 is on for 2012. Awesome. the first game was so good and rightly deserves a sequel. Also, the Transformers MMO will be released outside of Asia.

  • Udon's next Mega Man book is the Robot Masters Field Guide with profiles on all the bosses from Mega Man 1-10, Mega Man and Bass, the Mega Man Game boy series, and the important characters.

  • Media Molecule shows off the evolution of Sackboy, including some slightly more gruesome deaths that were not used in the game.

  • Scorpion was the first story trailer for the new Mortal Kombat, so it's only appropriate that Sub Zero gets the second trailer.

  • In an interview with USA Today, Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that his favorite Mario game is Super Mario World.

  • College Humor/Dorky have a couple new videogame videos. Mega Man is kind of a jerk to his tutor. The Roast of Mario has a couple funny lines, but it's mostly meh.

Movies / TV

  • The second Wolverine movie won't be called X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 or some garbage like that. Instead the title is The Wolverine and it isn't actually a sequel, it's just another movie starring Wolverine. Interesting. I can' t wait until we hear what the name of the inevitable third movie will be, probably something like Snikt.

  • Let the villain/ love interest speculation continue for The Dark Knight Rises. Christopher Nolan is meeting with a bunch of actresses, namely Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, and Keira Knightley, for two parts in the next film.

  • Starz will be making a live-action Noir series, based off the incredibly boring anime of the same name about two female assassins. Sam Raimi will be an executive producer, though, so maybe he'll be able to make the show actually interesting.

Movies / TV

Snarf snarfs snarfing snarfer snarfers.

  • Snarf will not talk in the new Thundercats cartoon, according to producer Michael Jelenic. Snarf just say stuff like, "Snarf Snarf." I'm okay with this. It's kind of like when the 200X Masters of the Universe cartoon came out and Cringer just growled and made cat noises instead of talking like in the old He-Man cartoon. I liked Cringer more when he didn't talk, so maybe I'll like Snarf more in the new Thundercats. Jelenic is also working on simplifying the mythology a little and that everyone's favorite characters will be in the series.

  • The second Silent Hill movie will be called Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, which will obviously and unfortunately be filmed in 3D. the plot will be taken from the third game where Heather Mason and her father are on the run.

  • MGM might actually have the 23rd Bond movie ready for 2012. Daniel Craig may or may not return, however.

  • Here's the first trailer for the second Resident Evil CGi movie, Resident Evil: Damnation. Is that Chris Redfield at the end?

  • Noomi Rapace from The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo might star in Ridley Scott's Alien prequel. She would definitely be a good choice for a strong female lead.

  • Keiji Inafune's Dead Rising Sun movie will be getting a DVD release in Japan with extra scenes. I still haven't seen this yet, but I hear it's absolutely terrible.

Games

  • 4Gamer has a super long interview with Keiji Inafune which was translated by a NeoGaf user. It's a great interview and is worth reading the whole thing.

  • Okamiden will be out on March 15th. The GameStop pre-order bonus is a paintbrush stylus and screen cleaner.

  • MAG is having super extra XP until Nov. 14th. +100% XP for any regular matches played and +200% for matches played in the DLC expansions.

  • A guy and his friends spent three years making Halo Spartan costumes so they could be the cast of Red Vs. Blue for Halloween. Long time, but great work.
