Oscar the Bionic Cat

Oscar was just a normal cat enjoying the outdoors until a combine harvester sliced off his two back feet. To save Oscar, veterinary surgeon Noel Fitzpatrick performed the world's first operation of implanting special metal pegs into the cat's leg bones. Remarkably, the metal successfully bonded to Oscar's bones and skin, effectively making him the first bionic cat. With the hard part done all that was left was to attach Oscar's new prototype feet. Once Oscar came out of sedation he was immediately able to walk around almost as well as he could before.

This is just amazing and the video is possibly the most heart-warming thing you'll see all month. (via BBC News)
