Gorgeous Details and Guest Bosses for Otomedius Gorgeous A couple months ago Otomedius Gorgeous was announced for the Xbox 360. Some new info has surfaced about Konami's Gradius and boobs shooter at the Otomedius Gorgeous site which has been translated courtesy of Kotaku. The game will be out in Japan as a disc title (not a download, nice!) on September 25th, hopefully on a region-free disc if the game doesn't get released in the 'states. For features Otomedius Gorgeous will have three-player co-op and can upload replay movies to Xbox Live so others can learn how to shoot gorgeously. What's more exciting is that the game will have a versus mode where the Otomedius girls face off against bosses from other Konami shooters. I like to call these "guest bosses." I don't know if this mode is in the original arcade version, but it seems like a very cool homage to Otomedius' roots. The bosses from the Gradius series include Big Core, Tetran, Covered Core Mk-II, Big Core Mk-II, Rolling Core, and Abaddon. The other guest bosses include the Space Manbow from Space Manbow, Des from the Salamander series, Viva Core from Parodius Da!, and the mysterious Zero Force Fortune. With all this fanfare Otomedius Gorgeous clearly needs to arrive in the U.S. to appease Konami's loyal shooter fan-base.
