Otomedius Gorgeous Gets a Hori Stick When Otomedius Gorgeous was announced for the Xbox 360 I wondered two things; how would the game handle the touch screen interface and why wasn't the game announced for the Nintendo DS, the system that features a slick touchable display like no other. Well, Otomedius is not coming to the DS and it looks like the Xbox 360 will handle the touch screen options via the right analog stick. However, for the truly dedicated of the hardcore shooter fans, Konami is releasing a limited edition Otomedius Gorgeous package that comes with the Hori Hyper Stick Pro - Otomedius Version (via Arcade Renaissance). Yes, apparently Otomedius is such a remarkable game that Hori agreed to make a stick for it. This super hyper stick features a touch pad on the right, so all those Japanese businessmen spied touching the Otomedius in public arcades, they can now do in the privacy of their own home. The complete Otomedius Gorgeous / Hori stick package will be available September 25th and is currently up for pre-order at the Konamistyle Japan store. For those that plan to import this, Play Asia has the Otomedius Gorgeous stick package for pre-order for $349.90. You know it's worth it because your shooters need this. You may even be able to use the stick for those spectacular upcoming fighting games (like the ones with Street Fighter in the title) if you can work the four button layout. See, it's win-win for all your games. If the actual disc turns out to be region free I may need to convince myself and my bank account to get one. Or, hopefully, Konami of America will decide to release the hyper stick package in the 'states as a limited edition thing via the Konami store like they did with the Gunmetal Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3. How about it Konami, will you let us Westerners touch Hori's Gorgeous stick?
