Samurai Predator Rips Out Spines With Honor

Hot Toys' newest Predator figure is the awesome Samurai Predator, the first in Hot Toys' new Artist Collection. Samurai Predator here was designed by artist Takayuki Takeya (who also designed the incredible Yoshimitsu statue) and sculpted by Yuji Oniki. I'm really digging the look of samurai armor on a Predator. Hot Toys always has amazing stuff and this is no exception. This guy is $360, but you're paying for a 1/6 scale Hot Toys quality figure and a ton of accessories, like interchangeable heads, hands, weapons, and alien trophies. It also has 22 points of articulation including a movable jaw. If Hot Toys wanted to do a collaboration with NECA to make a smaller scale, $15 Samurai Predator I'd be all for it. The one thing I don't get is why this is under the "Aliens Vs. Predator" name and not just "Predator." Will we be seeing a Samurai Alien any time soon? I doubt it. Samurai Predator is due out during the 2nd quarter of 2012. Check out more photos at Sideshow Collectibles.

It would be an honor to have your spinal column ripped out by a Samurai Predator.
