SDCC '10: District 9

Weta Workshop made District 9's amazing props, so it's only natural that they also make their own collectibles from the film. The life-size District 9 guns were very cool, and I didn't notice until I was looking at the photo, but that top gun sold out at SDCC. It cost $500. There is some serious cash being exchanged at Comic-Con. Weta also had on display a bas-ass statue of the Exosuit and a statue of Christopher Johnson and his son. Sitting atop a display case was a life-size statue of Christopher Johnson's son that stood maybe 2-3 feet tall. It's not something that was for sale, but I wouldn't be surprised if Weta decided to make some for the real die-hard D9 fans out there.

Don't touch! These cost at least 1,000 cans of cat food each.

Bad-ass Exosuit goodness.

Those fookin' Prawns are up to something.

You know, he's kind of cute for a disgusting bug alien.
