SDCC '12: Hasbro - Marvel

Along with their massive G.I. Joe, Transformers, and Kre-O dioramas, Hasbro also had a huge diorama for their Marvel Universe figures. Lots of old and upcoming hero and villain figures battled it out in Dr. Doom's castle while She Hulk relaxed and sunned herself on the shore. Can her green skin even tan? In the display cases Hasbro had all the Marvel Universe and Legends that are currently out and figures that will be out in Spring 2013. There are some great figures coming out and updated versions of previous figures.

I love that the Marvel villains are using Cobra and G.I. Joe weapons in their master plan. Also: Green goblin in a suit!

She Hulk is being really useless in this battle.

The Marvel exclusives this year were pretty good, starting with the Marvel Universe Masters of Evil 3-pack with Baron Zemo, Tiger Shark, and Radioactive Man. I find it weird that Baron Zemo has been made a convention exclusive. I thought he was a bigger villain to get a regular retail figure, but maybe we'll see a slightly different version of him in the future since Hasbro does it with many of their Transformers exclusives, so it's possible. The Marvel Legends exclusive 3-pack featured X-Force versions of Psylocke, Wolverine, and Angel. The third exclusive was the Marvel universe S.H.I.E.L.D. Super Helicarrier that's a whole foot longer than the retail version.

There were a few other statues at the Diamond Comics booth as well as all the awesome statues at Kotobukiya
