Spiderman 2 Pinball -Sony Pictures Mobile (2004)
-played on a Sanyo 8200 Summary: Spiderman’s spider goo slows the ball to a crawl. My Thoughts: Thanks to the excellent films, Spiderman’s fan base has increased quite a bit and Spiderman paraphernalia has popped out from everywhere. One of those places is your pocket with Spiderman 2 Pinball. Spiderman 2 Pinball is a sad excuse for a pinball game, or any game for that matter. The two-tiered machine is themed and colored like Spiderman. In the bottom section there are spiders moving on the board while Doc Ock’s upper section has floating “Y’s.” I think they’re supposed to be the good doctor’s extra arms, but I don’t recall his arms spinning in one place in the movie. You can also learn how to spell “WEB” and gain extras points. There are a couple points on the machine that if hit, make the screen flash white, confusing you in the process of what the hell just happened. Spiderman got too excited watching Mary Jane’s wet nipple scenes because his web goo is coated all over the machine. The ball moves excruciatingly slow and the flippers are unresponsive. The game is pretty much unplayable because it’s so slow. If you can stand playing pinball at a snail’s crawl then by all means try it, but there are much better pinball games out there.
