Under Defeat HD Goes Deluxe in U.S. and Europe

Helicopter shooter Under Defeat HD is heading to U.S. and European shores this Fall courtesy of the awesome Rising Star Games. Not only is Rising Star bringing the game outside of Japan, but they're also upgrading it to a Deluxe Edition. This will include all the DLC and patches, a digital art book, soundtrack CD, a new exclusive playable chopper, and a letter from G.Rev CEO and Under Defeat producer Hiroyuki Maruyama. That all sounds great, especially at their $39.99 price tag. Even though the original PS3 release in Japan was region-free, it's fantastic to see the game coming to the U.S. and Europe officially. Rising Star continues to give me great hope for the future of shooters outside of Japan.

You can never be defeated when you get to da choppa!

Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition will be released on the PS3 in the U.S. and both the PS3 and Xbox 360 in Europe. It's weird that the U.S. isn't getting it on the Xbox 360 too, but as long as we get it on at least one system, it's fine by me. It will also be on PSN for those that hate physical copies, but I'm sure that at lest the CD and letter won't be in the digital version.

Rising Star Games previously brought over Akai Katana to the U.S. and Europe and made a Deluxe Edition for DoDonPachi Resurrection in Europe that was region free. Keep being awesome, Rising Star Games.
